Eddie and Barbara Askew joined The Leprosy Mission in 1950. After 15 years of service in India, they transferred to London where Eddie later became International Director of the Mission's worldwide operations. Since his retirement from full-time Christian service in May 1987, Eddie has continued to exercise his much-appreciated gifts of writing and painting, and has become increasingly involved in leading Christian retreats.
